Programa Nacional de Lectura "A leer se ha dicho" Libro de teatro infantil, para cuarto primaria y sexto primaria en Guatemala.
Me encantó el proceso de leer las obras teatrales y diseñar a los personajes.

Some time ago I did a post about some illustrations I was working on, but couldn´t publish, so now I can :) All of this work belongs to the National Reading Program "A leer se ha dicho" Libro de teatro infantil, for fourth and sixth graders in Guatemala. I really love the process of reading the plays and designing the characters.
Hoy fué un día especial, salí en la mañana a pasear y se me ocurre pasar a una gasolinera, mi madre entra y compra el periódico y justo cuando nos ibamos vi la portada del periódico y veo impreso mis ilustraciones! Salto de la alegría que se publicará un trabajo que realicé para el Programa Nacional de Resarcimiento. Asi que les comparto las imagenes. Feliz día

Today was a really special day for me. I went out and thought to make a stop on a Gas Station, my mother walks in and buys the Newspaper and just when we were going out I saw the cover of the newspaper, and they there were my illustrations in Front page!! It was a job I did last year about a game that teaches children about the war we had for 36 years in Guatemala. So I share with you the images. Have a nice day ;)

Hola a tod@s, ha pasado ya casi un mes, y no he publicado mucho, por lo cual regreso con una propuesta de diseño que trabaje para FUNDAL, una fundación que ayuda a niñas y niños con problemas de sordoceguera. Ellos están por realizar un congreso y necesitaban varias piezas, lo que más me gustó es que les propuse la incorporación de la ilustración, ya que nunca lo habían hecho, y al ver la propuesta...ACEPTARON! Fué una gran alegría para mi, mi primer ilustración de personajes con sordoceguera, un reto, pero me lleno de gran satisfacción poder ir abarcando espacios con propuestas que promuevan el desarrollo de TODOS los niños y niñas con diferentes facultades. Lección aprendida: proponer, proponer, proponer ideas nuevas :)

Hi! it´s been almost a month, and I´m happier than ever. I´m back with this design, that I did for FUNDAL, that is a Foundation that helps children with eye and hearing dissabilities. They needed some pieces to promote a series of activities that they will have in September. So I decided to include some characters, a thing that they have never tried, but when they saw the work, they respond with a big YES!! I´m so glad to be able to have my first characters that include children with eye and hearing dissabilities. So from no on, I will just try to convince everyone to work with illustrations! hehe
Propuesta de juego de mesa, el objetivo del juego es que los niños y las niñas con cáncer aprendán a expresar y conocer los sentimientos que atraviesan durante el proceso de lucha contra la enfermedad. Este juego es una herramienta que les ayuda a enfrentarse contra el padecimiento de una mejor manera.
Atualización: 19Jun. El juego ha sido validado por expertos en el centro de cancerología, y nos ha ido muy bien!!!!!

Game board design, for children who are dealing with any type of cancer. This game will help them to know and express the feelings that they will have during the treatment of the disease. The purpose is to give them a tool, to deal the fight against cancer in the best way they can. The game was design only Spanish for now.
Bueno he dejado pasar un poco de tiempo, por estar entretenida con algunos trabajitos. Les dejo el diseño de personajes que trabajé para IMASP, fué un reto el representar un uniforme tan serio, en algo más tierno para niñas y niños.

I haven´t post for a while, cause I´ve been working on some freelances. I wanted to post these character designs. The true challenge was to represent a uniform thar is so dark and serious into something childish and cute ;)
